Council Voting Representatives Nominations Are Open Now!

Each Council needs to nominate/acclaim/appoint/elect three Council Voting Representatives, one of which must be a youth member (born between September 2, 1994 and December 31, 2007).  These are the representatives who will vote on behalf of your Council at our next AGM on Saturday November 13, 2021.

All Scouts Canada members born on or before December 31, 2007 can be nominated as a Voting Representative and can cast ballots for their Council’s Voting Representatives.

There are two stages for election:

1.      Call for Nominations is open from April 28, 2021 until May 25, 2021.

2.      Voting, where required, will be open from June 8, 2021 and closes on July 5, 2021.

The role and responsibilities of the Council Voting Representatives increased significantly in the last year thanks to efforts of the Board of Governors. We are hoping to have as much or more interest than last year when we had a record 131 nominations and elections in 16 Councils.
